University Plaza Rooms
University Plaza will provide a carpeted room, a wooden chair, wooden desk, 3-drawer dresser, blinds, twin extra long mattress, and wooden twin extra long bed frame. Each standard size, 12'x13'9", room will include four electrical outlets; one pair on each wall near the air unit for the room. The windows are double-pane storm windows that can be opened by the resident.

Private Bathrooms
At University Plaza, all suites have private bathrooms. That means you'll never have to walk down the hall again to shower. No more shower shoes! A shower curtain is provided, but you can replace it with your own if you would like to customize your room.

Housekeeping
Not only do all suites have bathrooms but you don't have to clean it. Once a week, housekeeping will come and clean your bathroom and vacuum the floor in your foyer and your bedroom. For more information and to see the housekeeping schedule, click here.

HVAC
The air, or HVAC, can be controlled by the resident by using the control panel built into the casing. HVAC's run on a water-based system, and will produce heating or cooling depending on the season. This does not allow for climate control, but allows you to vary the airflow to regulate the temperature by approximately five degrees.

 

Phone & Internet
Internet and phone ports are located in each room. A phone will not be provided, but free service must be activated by the resident for the phone or internet service. Prior to Move-In, you will receive more information in the mail regarding service fees and rates. Wireless internet service is available throughout the building.

 

Cable
The cable box is located on one of the walls near the air unit. The resident must connect to the cable box with a coaxial cable from a VCR or television and use the auto program feature on their television or VCR to set up the channels to cable reception. Coaxial cable is not provided but is sold during Move-In or in the Management Office. For a list of cable channels, click here.
